Why does the camera not focus?
By default, the camera is set to manual focus, which means that it must receive a manual focus command to focus. To set the camera to autofocus mode, go to the Focus/Zoom section of the web interface. Change the following parameters:
Set ‘’Mode’’ to AUTO, this enables autofocus.
Set ‘’Distance’’ to 0.1M, this changes the minimum focus distance to 0.1 meter (~4 inches).
