Responding to the request of a national Retail LP Manager for a covert camera that can be installed anytime, even in the presence of suspected thieves, Videology engineers designed and are now bringing to market Double Vision. Double Vision is a covert camera that can be installed anytime, quickly and in plain sight—Double Vision is One Camera With Two Fields of View, with a patent-pending design.
On its face, Double Vision is an operating 1/3” Interline CCD camera with >480 TVL. What makes Double Vision such an innovative LP tool is that inside the camera’s rugged, all-metal housing is a second operating camera that captures video via a pinhole lens on the housing’s underside. Both video streams are maintained via one power source.
Double Vision is a timesaver, as it can be installed anytime, even during working hours—its covert nature is obscured—eliminating the need for costly after-hours installations. Double Vision can also be swapped out in under a minute, as it uses existing wiring, eliminating the need for a professional installer, representing a savings in cost as well as time.
